Employee Manual Program 

 

  • An initial assessment/meeting with the doctor/office administrator to discuss present office policies. A determination of office needs will be noted and recorded. 

 

  • You will be provided with a customized Employee Manual with all the updated California regulations.

 

  • Your personalized Employee Manual includes, but is not limited to: 

        • Application For Employment

        • I-9 Employment Eligibility Forms

        • At-Will Agreement

        • Employee Arbitration Agreement

        • Non-Disclosure & Confidentiality Agreement

        • Optional On-Duty Meal Break Waiver Agreement

        • 10-Minute Breaks And 30-Minute Meal Breaks Confirmation Agreement

        • Substance Abuse Policy

        • CFRA Policy (*NEW FOR 2021*)

  • You will be provided with all the required California forms and pamphlets for new hires.

 

  • The office administrator/employer will be trained on how to distribute your customized Employee Manual, explain the Manual’s contents, provide employee acknowledgement forms, collect necessary employee signature forms, and implement your customized policies. 

 

  • Includes on-site audits and updates. Each audit will include an employee engagement questionnaire for each staff member. 

 

  • Includes yearly telephone/email support. 

 

 

2) OSHA Program Fee: $500

 

  • The on-site OSHA program meets OSHA required initial training and annual bloodborne pathogen requirements.

 

  • The training covers OSHA required safety plans such as: 

    • Injury & Illness Prevention 

    • Infection Control

    • Ergonomics

    • Fire & Emergency 

    • General Office Safety

    • Medical Waste Disposal

    • Exposure Control

    • New Hazard Communication Standard

(Completion certification awarded for participants of refresher course)

 

  • An initial OSHA audit will be conducted. Any deficiencies will be noted and written instructions for corrections will be provided. Photographs may be taken for training purposes to show safety or infection control hazards.

 

  • Your OSHA program includes a customized CAL/OSHA Reference Manual.

 

  • Your OSHA program includes a personalized CAL/OSHA Documentation Kit, with customized plans, policies, and procedures. 

 

  • The staff will learn how to prevent accidents, properly manage an exposure incident, properly label hazardous substances, and create/maintain the office Safety Data Sheet (formerly called MSDS) manual and inventory list. 

 

  • The employer or designated OSHA coordinator will be trained on how to maintain the OSHA manual, manage exposure incidents and complete record-keeping forms. 

 

  • Your OSHA program includes on-site audits and updates to monitor and record any new or remaining OSHA deficiencies. Written instructions for corrections will be provided. Each audit will include an OSHA questionnaire for each staff member. 

 

  • Your OSHA program includes yearly telephone/email support.

 

 

3) COVID-19 Program Fee: $500

 

  • The COVID -19 training covers:

    • What is COVID-19?

    • Transmission

    • Risk Mitigation

    • Aerosol and non-aerosol generating procedures

    • Personal Protective Equipment

    • Infection Control Zones

    • Next Steps

(Completion Certification awarded for participants of course)

 

  • An initial audit will be conducted. Any deficiencies will be noted and written instructions for corrections will be provided.

 

  • COVID-19 Protocols and Procedures Manual, including checklists, policies, forms and for office. 

 

  • Your Manual includes the following required documents (and much more):

  • Customized Respiratory Protection Program for your office

  • Travel and Conduct away from work Policy

  • Treatment Consent Form

  • Injury and Illness Prevention Program 

  • COVID-19 Addendum to the Injury and Illness Prevention Plan

4) HIPAA Program Fee: $500

 

  • The on-site HIPAA program meets the mandatory HIPAA staff training requirements. 

 

  • Your HIPAA training includes, but is not limited to: 

§ Privacy and Security Rules
§ Breach Notification Rule
§ 2013 Final Omnibus Rule
§ How these rules affect the typical medical office
§ What specific steps are required by the workforce to insure privacy and security compliance 

  • An initial HIPAA audit will be conducted. Any deficiencies will be noted and written instructions for corrections will be provided. 

 

  • Your HIPAA program includes a customized HIPAA Reference Manual. 

 

  • Your HIPAA program includes a personalized HIPAA Documentation Kit, with customized plans, policies, and procedures. 

 

  • We will assist your practice in implementation of HIPAA Privacy and Security rules, including the Final Omnibus Rule. Hands-on implementation includes conducting an office risk assessment and updating Notice of Privacy Practices and Business Associates Agreements. 

 

  • Your HIPAA program includes on-site quarterly audits and updates to monitor and record any new or remaining HIPAA deficiencies. Written instructions for corrections will be provided. Each quarterly audit will include a HIPAA questionnaire for each staff member. 

 

  • Your HIPAA program includes yearly telephone/email support. 

 

Note: our HIPAA program does not include computer software support, practice management software support, computer hardware support or internet technology support or services. However, if needed, we can connect you with an appropriate and reliable third-party. 

 

5) Fraud Prevention Program Fee: $250

 

  • Includes a personalized and customized written Anti-Fraud Compliance Manual with specific policies, procedures, and standards of conduct. 

 

  • We will assist your practice in designating a compliance officer and compliance committee. 

 

  • We will assist your practice in establishing effective and open lines of communication, enforcing standards through well-publicized disciplinary guidelines, responding to detected offenses, and taking corrective action promptly 

  • Includes on-site quarterly audits and updates. Each quarterly audit will include an anti-fraud compliance questionnaire for each staff member. 

 

  • Includes yearly telephone/email support. 

 

 

6) Harassment Prevention Program Fee: $300

 

  • Includes on-site/online interactive Sexual harassment and Abusive Conduct Prevention training for your entire staff, including doctors/dentists, administrators, supervisors, dental hygienists.

 

  • Includes a customized Sexual Harassment Law in the California Workplace Reference Manual. 

 

  • Includes a customized written discrimination, harassment and retaliation prevention policy with specific provisions. The mandatory policy will be distributed to all employees with acknowledgment that the employees received and understand the policy 

 

  • Includes the required DFEH posters, containing information on the illegality of sexual harassment and discrimination, and the required Transgender Rights in the Workplace poster. 

 

  • Includes a pamphlet on sexual harassment to distribute to all employees. 

 

  • We will assist your practice in ensuring that an effective complaint process is in place and that employees are aware of the process, including information on how an employee can bring a complaint, your investigatory process and supervisor reporting obligations. 

 

  • We will assist your practice in correcting and remedying any harassment in the workplace, including taking steps to prevent future harassment. 

 

  • Includes on-site quarterly audits and updates. Each quarterly audit will include an anti-discrimination questionnaire for each staff member. 

 

  • Includes yearly telephone support.
